Hey, I’m Liz! I grew up just a toe-touch outside of Chicago, married my high school sweetheart, and planted our roots in Central Illinois over a decade ago where we’re raising three kids, cheering from the sidelines as a swim mom, and enjoying life with our dog.

Before photography, I was a classroom teacher, and for several years I homeschooled my kids. These days, I savor the little things, like a chai latte, a good podcast, or sneaking in a few chapters of a good book. Sunshine fills my soul (though I’ll never complain about a cozy rainy day), and my happy place will always be either walking a beautiful trail or sitting at the beach.

Photography, for me, isn’t about forcing smiles or stiff poses. It’s about connection. It’s about those real, authentic moments; the sideways glance between siblings, the laugh that takes over your whole face, the sweet snuggle that happens when no one’s watching. I love making people feel seen and celebrated, and nothing excites me more than chasing down that shot that perfectly captures who you are in this season of life.
