My name is Liz. I’m a mom, wife, and former teacher who began doula work in 2017 after experiencing my own birth and postpartum traumas. I love supporting and partnering with families during the pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum stages of their lives. Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is such a beautiful, yet sacred time; I strive to support my clients in a way that makes them feel seen, heard, validated, and cared for.

Photography started as a hobby and grew into a dreamy profession of capturing people’s moments - big and small. I started snapping photos of my own children, which caught the attention of family and friends who started asking me to document their milestones and lifestyles. It wasn’t until 2022 that I even imagined capturing people’s birth stories as a possibility. Now I am honored to help tell the story of how my clients meet their babies for the first time. Freezing moments and milestones in time is something I know is dear to people as they look back at those images.

If I’m not at a birth, I schedule maternity, newborn, and fresh 48 sessions. I also love Creative Dance Sessions and Senior Sessions - there’s something amazing about seeing kids and young adults be their authentic selves.

When I’m not working, I’m homeschooling my kids, reading, binging Netflix, or delighting in a hot cup of chai. I married my highschool sweetheart and am a transplant from the Chicago suburbs to Central Illinois.
